Vintage Cartier Must de Cartier Trinity Tank Watch | Circa 1980
A wonderfully distinctive vintage Must de Cartier ladies’ wristwatch dating to circa 1980, pairing the Maison’s iconic rectangular silhouette with an unusually graphic striped Trinity dial.
Alternating bands of warm gold, ivory and amber tones give the dial an almost Art Deco quality, while blued sword-style hands and the Cartier double-C signature add unmistakable house codes. A cabochon-set crown provides the quintessential finishing touch.
Powered by a jeweled manual-wind movement, the watch retains the intimate ritual and charm of traditional mechanical watchmaking. The vivid red faux-alligator strap gives the otherwise classic design a playful, modern contrast.
A particularly fun example of 1980s Cartier—elegant, graphic, and just a little unexpected.
